height: 6'1".
weight: 160 lbs.
hair: Dark brown with light brown highlights - short, though beginning to turn shaggy.
eyes: Baby blue.
piercings: n/a
tattoos: n/a
distinguishing features:
- Thin Lips: Jay's always had extremely thin lips - and often jokes that he's thankful that he wasn't a girl, as if he was he'd never be able to pull off wearing any sort of lip products. It's something that's rarely bothered him, though he's often biting his bottom lip - or at least, whatever's left of it.
- Nose: Jay's nose seems to be rather normal, though he despises it. If one were to ask him what he hates so much about it, he'll reply that he finds it too large, and slightly upturned - allowing someone to be able to see his nostrils. Though this is something that's hardly recognizable, Jay's extremely self conscious about it.
- Arm Muscles: While Jay may not strike you as the most athletic person, as a child he was occasionally teased about being so weak. As a result, he spent hours at the gym working on building upper-arm strength, and if one were to observe him at school, you'd see his hard work payed off. They're by no means buff - but they're something.
style:
Since the start of high school, Jay rarely finds himself caring as to how others will perceive him from what he wears. When he dresses up, he'll make sure to go all out - tuxedo, fancy shoes, a classic black tie. As for school, the boy will dress in whatever mood suits him - sometimes in jeans and a button-down shirt, or sweat pants and a v-neck shirt. His style, is whatever he wants it to be that day.

personality:
Perverted: Growing up in a family of comedians, Jay as a child had the tendency to look up towards his father, and often would sit backstage and watch as he performed in front of various types of audiences. In contrast with his mother, who would give delicate and more sarcastic type of shows, his dad would often perform in front of other men, and would do shows involving more "mature" types of jokes. Having to watch this, Jay's sense of humor developed to a more "dirty-minded" nature, and became well received among most of his male classmates in middle school, allowing him to fit into his group of friends quite nicely. However, his crude humor often made it difficult when he formed a crush on a girl in his class - he'd try and make her laugh, but result in accidentally offending her.
Protective: Jay's extremely protective of his little sister, Jamie. Ever since he was a child, having to look after his sister when his parents were performing at shows every other night, he developed an almost parent-like relationship with her. He'd do anything to make sure Jamie is never hurt by any guy, to make sure she does her best at everything, to make sure she makes no mistakes. If Jay ever found out some guy at school tried to take advantage of her in any sort of way, it's almost certain he'd do some sort of harm to the person.
Secretive: It may surprise others, but Jay's very secretive about his personal life and his feelings about others around him. While he does socialize often - cracking jokes about anyone and anything, if someone tries to pull him into a more serious conversation, he'll typically try and stray away from the topic and crack a joke to change the subject. This is something he'd learnt from his family - whenever there was some sort of familial conflict, they'd avoid it until it went away, and instead make a joke about it. This results in Jay rarely connecting with others on a deeper level, making him more so the guy that people will go to to get their minds off of something. He doesn't mind this, as the boy doesn't like analyzing whatever troubles happen to occur in his life - he prefers to take the care-free, go-with-the-flow method.

nationalities: Caucasian.
birthplace: The City.
hometown: The City.
father: Andrew Reynolds, 48, comedian.
mother: Georgia Reynolds, 46, comedian.
siblings: Jamie Reynolds, 15, student.
history:
Growing up, Jay was always shadowing his parents while both of their careers simultaneously grew more and more successful. Comedy ran in their family - Jay's great-grandfather opened the first comedy club in The City, and performed there every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. As his talent grew more and more, he became well known throughout both The City and Rochester itself - and since it's been a family tradition for comedy to be the number one career choice. When Jay's parents first began their careers, they performed together. However, when they realized their sense of humor weren't exactly compatible to be in the same shows, they began performing separately, playing for different types of crowds - his mother in front of mostly women and their husbands, and his father in front of solely men.
Because at the time the family didn't live close to any extended relatives, Jay would often be brought to the venues his parents performed at, expected to either sit in the audience or hang around backstage. The boy would often sit behind the curtain, watching his parents perform, and was fascinated by the whole spectacle. When his sister, Jamie, came along, Jay found himself often going to his fathers performances of his mothers, and thus developed his father's often crude sense of humor. As a teenager, the family moved in with Jay's grandfather, and began running the comedy club as a family business. Jay would often help with the setup, promotion, and MC night shows, and enjoyed the feeling he got whenever he could make a room full of people burst into laughter. It gave him an adrenaline rush, a sense of purpose he'd yet to feel, and began developing his own show to give, on in which he performed occasionally in front of different audiences.
Impressed with his bold, often inappropriate, sense of humor, Jay's male classmates admired the boy, making him rather popular in the grade. Jay was the class clown of the school - never taking himself or his classes too seriously, and always one to make everyone laugh. This got him in trouble with the office most of the time, though his parents weren't often very disciplinary - they'd simply tell him to be smart about it, and not get into too much trouble. Unfortunately, the girls of Jay's grade were never too impressed with the dirty jokes - they'd roll their eyes, become insulted at the rude humor. This made things difficult when it came to love life for the boy, but he didn't know any other type of humor, simply the one he grew up listening to.
When he reached his senior year however, he met a girl who understood his humor, and would often laugh and make jokes back at him. The two connected admits senior art class - a subject neither took very seriously, and would often skip together. Eventually, Jay found himself falling for her. One day, the two were together, skipping class, alone in a cafe. While she talked animatedly about something he wasn't even listening to, Jay leaned in before he could stop himself, and kissed her. She kissed back, and when the two finished, she admitted that she had a boyfriend. Immediately apologizing, she informed him that said boyfriend went to another school, and rarely would they bother to meet up. Not understanding what she was suggesting, it took Jay a while to realize she was up for a sort of affair. Even though he knew it was morally wrong to mess with a relationship, he couldn't help it - finding a girl who was even mildly interested in him was rare enough, and he wasn't about to pass up the chance.
As a result, Jay found himself to be the "other guy" in the love triangle. Because of the secrecy of their relationship and her wish for it to be anonymous (with good reason), the two would sneak around behind everyone's back - not just the boyfriend. Jay would often ditch other priorities, such as working nights at the comedy club, simply to go hang out with the girl. Now, Jay's slowly beginning to center this girl, who's still in a relationship with another man, as his world. It'll take someone else, who discovers Jay's secret, to make him step back and consider what he's about to sacrifice.
