Housing Claims
So this is for the housing claims at Radcliff Heights! Just let me have a quick explanation before I get down to how this works. You can just post in the code I give to you, by either replying to this thread, or PMing me this. If you want it done much more quickly, it's best if you PM me, as I will check this when there's a large update in the claims. Either way, I ask for the following : your character's family name, a description of the house, and where you want it to be (which means; the city, the country, or radcliff itself).
Just to let you know - I don't want ten million people to live in the city and drive out to Radcliff Heights for school/work. Nor do I want millions of country folk running around here. Not that this is a bad thing - I do want variaty, but Radcliff does need residents! Reminder, it's much more realistic that people in the small town, live in the small town. If there's a ridiculous amount of people living in a certain catagory, I will put a temporary ban on that area until it evens out. Please, don't make me do this, because it becomes such a pain in the rear.
The City.
Because Radcliff is such a tiny town - it makes sense that some residents don't feel like paying to build a house of their own, or feel like waiting for one of the apartments to open up. It takes approximately thirty minutes to get from the city to Radcliff - or up to over an hour if you're stuck in traffic. It's not the most convenient way of living, but it's pretty much un-avoidable. Typically those who are slightly rich, or slightly poor will live in the city.
The Country.
Ah, the country. Peaceful, scenic way of living, that is for sure. Most of the farms are abandoned or no longer used, though a few of them on the outskirts of Radcliff are still in use. They of course, supply the market with fresh vegetables and fruit of the sort - something the townspeople adore. Teens love to camp out here underneath the starry night - or they'll just fool around in the fields, playing pranks on the farms. Old families tend to be living on the farms, or new couples.
Radcliff Heights.
Most of the houses in Radcliff Heights can scale from upscale, old Victorian mansions - to dingy apartments. As you get furthur into the slew of houses, the higher the classes, the larger the plots of land, the fatter the trust funds are. Despite the contrast of classes in the neighborhood, everyone knows each other, and it isn't odd that everyone comes together for certain times of the season.
TO CLAIM:
Place: whereyouwantyourhouse
Description: It doesn't really matter to me how descriptive, just a few things to place for a setting, for others to see when they want to thread with you at your characters house. Just don't make it novel size, or 'the house is red.'.
Family Name: last name of your character.
